PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH INSPECTION AND TESTING SERVICES

Potential homebuyers and current homeowners will benefit
greatly from the inspection and testing services offered
by our Pestech®
certified PestechnologistsTM.
Here
are just a few of the inspection and testing services provided:
Pest Inspections: Also known as WDI (wood destroying
insect) inspections, Pestech®
provides
our customers with a comprehensive pest inspection to determine
the presence of various wood destroying insects. These infestations,
which if left unattended, can erode the value of your future
home, costing you thousands of dollars in repairs. The presence
of structural pests such as termites, powder post beetles,
carpenter ants etc. will be surveyed and reported. Termite
activity, which can cause permanent structural damage, can
occur shortly after a new home is built, with very little
apparent evidence. Pestech®
has
been providing homeowners with the security and confidence
that comes with a professional WDI Inspection. Let
Pestech®
inspect
and evaluate your home for damaging pests. A mortgage company
prior to the purchase of a newly constructed or existing
home often requires this type of inspection and will
help to keep you from making a poor decision on a home which
has pest problems which may often be hidden from your view.
Radon Testing: Radon is a poisonous soil
born element, which leaches from the soil, seeping into
basements to contaminate the air we breath. Pestech®
provides
both the testing of air for contaminants and can recommend
mitigation needed to eliminate the gas if unacceptable levels
are found. Statistically, new homes in the Hudson Valley
have fewer pest problems; however, they can have dangerously
high levels of radon gas. Also, the water from a newly drilled
well should also be tested for signs of ground water contamination
in the form of bacteria, mineral and organic or inorganic
compounds such as pesticides.
Water Analysis:
We provide our customers with over 300 tests to evaluate
the purity of your drinking water. Minerals such as sulfur
and lime can become a new homeowners perennial headache.
Bacteria in your water supply can cause odor or serious
illness. We'll help you determine the number of tests needed
for your region and help answer questions concerning water
purification systems.
Septic Dye Test: This test is a basic functionality
observation of the interior septic draining systems for
leaks and or flow with the aid of dye introduced into the
system. This test is often required for home transfer.
